Long-term success

Although Livewire is a young company, founder and MD Eleanor-Jo has a clear track record of placing people that stay the course and deliver results. Here are a few examples of her achievements that illustrate the importance Livewire places on getting to know business, culture and character.

  • Placed 70% of the UK sales team for a high-growth CRM vendor. Almost 100% of first interviews resulted in a second interview and 80% of those resulted in an offer. In total, 18 people were employed and nearly all remained with the company for at least two years. Over time, between them they achieved multiple promotions and top performer status.
  • Placed four ‘out of the box’ professionals with a global networking company. All remained with the business for five years or more, achieved several promotions, and became influential figures within the organisation. One was consistently among the client’s top five global sales people. The client claimed that, on paper, none of the talent would have even been considered by his internal HR team.
  • Introduced a new business sales professional to a prospective employer on the strength of his wider sales talents. Initially the employer was concerned about the individual’s lack of sector experience, but following the interview he agreed with Eleanor-Jo’s assessment that this was far outweighed by the talents on offer. The person was employed, and in his first full year became the vendors number one sales person globally, earning in excess of £300K.
  • Helped an individual – who had taken a three-year sabbatical out of the job market – back into a senior sales role with a blue chip client. Although the individual’s expectations were initially low, the client was persuaded to focus on her determination and passion. Within the first 10 months she had hit 150% of target and became one of the top four performers in the UK.
